Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

Permits in order are not the same as risk under control. We diagnose your regulatory exposure and manage it preventively — so an inspection never stops your operation.

The environmental life of a plant begins before SEMARNAT: the environmental-impact authorization that conditions the project, the operating licenses of federal emission sources, the registrations as a hazardous-waste generator, and the conditions each resolution carries with it. We manage those filings at the source and — just as important — keep their compliance alive over time: forgotten conditions are an inspector’s favorite finding.

PROFEPA, the enforcement arm of Mexico’s environmental authority, can arrive with an inspection order and review in hours what the operation built over years. We accompany the visit from the first minute, protect the record and the legal deadlines to respond, attend corrective and urgent measures, and defend the company through the administrative proceeding — and, where needed, before the courts. The goal is not to win the fine: it is to prevent the shutdown.

The best defense is built before the inspection order exists: regulatory-exposure diagnostics, compliance calendars and — where it makes sense — the voluntary environmental audit before PROFEPA itself, which shields the operation with a recognized certification. On workplace safety, the same preventive approach applies to labor-authority standards and inspections.
